Learning How To Log Off Business

November 24–28, 2026 | Week 4 of Departments & Duties

You can't play the game forever without stepping away from the board.

Business matters.

Your career matters.

Your goals matter.

But you matter too.

Knowing how to work is important.

Knowing when to stop working is important too.

Join Pitch Play Co. for Rest Is VERY Important, the final week of our November Departments & Duties season.

This experience is designed for high school students, college students, professionals, career changers, entrepreneurs, business owners, and anyone who is learning how to balance ambition with the rest of their life.

This week, we'll focus on learning how to log off business — understanding why stepping away is necessary, how rest can support your ability to perform, and why you don't have to be working all the time to be moving forward.

👾 This Week's Class

Rest Is VERY Important

There will always be another email.

Another meeting.

Another task.

Another goal.

Another thing that needs to get done.

If you're always waiting until everything is finished before you rest, you may never rest.

That's why learning how to log off from business is an important part of building a sustainable career and life.

In this class, you'll explore how to:

  • Understand why rest is important

  • Recognize when you need to step away

  • Create boundaries between work and personal time

  • Understand the difference between being productive and simply being busy

  • Identify habits that make it difficult to disconnect

  • Give yourself permission to take a break

  • Understand how constantly working can affect your ability to perform

  • Make time for the people, activities, and experiences outside of work

  • Build a healthier relationship with your career and responsibilities

  • Understand why stepping away can be part of moving forward

👾 Why This Matters

Your career is one part of your life.

It isn't your entire life.

There will always be something you could be doing for work.

But that doesn't mean you should always be doing it.

Rest isn't the opposite of productivity.

Sometimes, rest is what allows you to come back with the energy, perspective, and focus you need to continue.

You don't have to earn the right to rest by completely exhausting yourself.

You don't have to feel guilty for logging off.

And you don't have to be productive every second of the day.

Pitch Play Co. is about learning how to play the game of business — but knowing when to step away from the game is part of knowing how to play it.

Learning when to stop can be just as important as learning how to start.

👾 Dates Are Subject to Change

Pitch Play Co. operates on a quarterly schedule, and class dates may change or be rescheduled.

If a class date needs to change, attendees will have the option to:

  • Select another available date, or

  • Request a refund for the affected class/date

We'll communicate any schedule changes as they occur.

👾 Ready to Log Off?

Your career will still be there when you come back.

Your goals will still be there.

The game isn't going anywhere.

Sometimes the move you need to make is to stop playing for a little while.

Join Pitch Play Co. for Rest Is VERY Important and learn why knowing when to log off is part of building a career you can actually sustain.
