Throughout the week, we'll focus on understanding the importance of your role in business — helping you recognize the value of what you do, understand how your work connects to others, and identify the impact you can make.

Identifying Your Impact

Your job title doesn't tell the whole story.

Your responsibilities don't tell the whole story either.

To understand your role, you need to understand what changes because you do your job.

Every role exists for a reason.

The work you do can help a business make money, save money, serve customers, solve problems, improve processes, build relationships, create opportunities, or move the organization toward its goals.

In this class, you'll explore how to:

• Identify the purpose behind your role

• Understand how your responsibilities contribute to the business

• Recognize the impact your work has on other people and teams

• Connect your individual goals to larger business goals

• Identify the value you bring to an organization

• Understand how your work affects customers, coworkers, and leadership

• Recognize opportunities to make a greater impact

• Communicate the importance of your work more effectively

• Think beyond your individual responsibilities and understand the bigger picture

The Saturday session is an Advanced version of Identifying Your Impact and is designed for attendees ready to take the concepts further.

The One-Day Pass does not include:

• Pitch Play leaderboard participation

Pitch Play Co. operates on a quarterly schedule, and class dates may change or be rescheduled.

If a class date needs to change, attendees will have the option to:

• Select another available date, or

• Request a refund for the affected class/date

We'll communicate any schedule changes as they occur.
